What stories have you read started out good and eventually turned shit?

For me it’s Cold-Blooded Beast. The story was great and I absolutely loved it, but then it gave more backstory on the two main characters and… It turned into one of those “I raised you when you were a child and now I want to fuck you” stories.

Eugh. I have zero tolerance for stuff like that. As soon as I realized the long haired guy raising the 5 year old kid was the seme and that same kid was the uke I dipped out immediately. I HAAAATTE stuff like that.
